THIS INDENTURE Made the twenty third day of August in the Year of our Lord one thousand and seven hundred and fifty eight Between Solomon Ferree of Sadsbury Township in the County of Lancaster & Province of Penna. Yeom. & Rebecca his wife on the one part and John Rees of Strasburg Township in ye County & Province aforesd. Yeom. of the other part Witnesseth that the said Solomon Ferree and Rebecca his wife for & in Consideration of the Sum of five hundred pounds Currant money of Penna. to them in hand well & truly paid by ye sd. John Reece whereof is hereby acknowledged they the sd. Solomon Ferree & Rebecca his wife Have and each of them Hath given granted aliened enfeoffed released and confirmed and by these presents Do and each of them Doth fully freely and absolutely give grant alien enfeoff release and confirm unto the sd. Jno. Rees his Heirs and Assigns, all that Piece or Parcel of Land situate lying and being in Strasburg Township aforesd. Beginning at a white oak Tree thence extending by that part allotted to the sd. Solomon Ferree East Seventy seven perches to a post thence by John Ferrees Land South by East two hundred & seventeen perches to a Post thence by the same West seventy seven perches to a post thence by Danl. Ferrees Land north by west two hundred & seventeen perches to ye place of Beginning containing ninety five acres & five perches and allowance of six (yr. lt.?) for Roads & Highways, being a certain Tract granted by Moses Ferree & Esther his wife unto the aforesd. Solomon Ferree his Heirs and Assigns for ever as by their Indenture bearing date the twenty sixth day of June in the Year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred & fifty five and entered in the Office for recording of Deeds for the County of Lancaster in Book D. Page 343 & relation thereunto being had may more fully & at large appear Together with all and singular the Improvements ways woods waters water courses Rights Liberties Priviledges Hereditamts. and appurtenances whatsoever to the sd. peice of Land and Premises hereby granted or intended to be, belonging or in anywise appurtaining and all the Estate Right Title Interest Property Claim and Demand whatsoever of them the sd. Solomon Ferree and Rebecca his wife of in to or out of the same and the Revertion and remainders rents issues and Profits thereof and all Deeds or true copys of Deeds Evidences and writings touching or in anywise concerning the same to be had and taken at the proper l(ost?) and Charge of the sd. Jno. Rees his Heirs or Assigns To have & to hold the sd. peice or parcel of Land hereby given and granted or mentioned or intended so to be, & every part or parcel thereof with ye. appurtenances unto the sd. Jno. Rees his Heirs Assigns to the only proper use of the said Jno. Rees his Heirs & assigns for ever. Subject nevertheless to the proportionable part of the yearly Quit rent due to the Lord or Lords of the fee thereof And the said Solomon Ferree and Rebecca his wife for themselves their Heirs Executors and admrs. doth Covenant promise grant and agree to and with the said John Reece his Heirs and Assigns that they the said Solomon Ferree and Rebecca his wife and their Heirs and every other Person or Persons whatsoever now having or lawfully claiming or hereafter to have or lawfully claim any Estate right title or Interest whatsoever of in or to the sd. hereby granted Trust of Land Hereditaments and Premises with the Appurtenances or any part thereof by from or under then or either of them shall & will at anytime or times hereafter at the request Cost and Charges of the sd. Jno. Rees his Heirs and Assigns make do acknowledge l(eve?)y suffer perfect and execute or cause and procure so to be, all & every such further and other lawful and reasonable act and acts Deed and Deeds Thing and Things Conveyance and Assurance in the Law whatsoever be it by fine feoffmt. Common recovery or otherwise for the further better more sure perfect and absolute granting conveying assuring releasing and confirming all and singular the said Premises with ye appurtenances or any part thereof unto the sd. Jno Rees his Heirs and Assigns forever as by him or them or his or their Council learned in the Law shall be reasonably advised or devised and required In Witness whereof the sd. parties to these presents their Hands & Seals have hereunto interchangeably set the Day and Year first above written.

Know all men by these presents that I Andrew Rees of martick township Lancaster County, Yeoman for and in Consideration of the Sum of two hundred Seventy five dollars & eighty seven cents to me in hand paid by Benjamin rees of the same place at and before the Ensealing and delivery of the presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged have bargained Sold & delivered and by these presents do bargain sell and deliver unto the said Benjamin Rees the following goods and Chattles viz. One Bay Mare, four head of Sheep, Six head of horned cattle, ten head of hogs, one tin plate stove, foure B(eads?) bedsteads & furniture, one table, two chests, one looking glass, two Kitchen dresers, Pots, pans, ladles, spoons, plates, crocks, dishes, tubs, five cider vesels, flax & grain in the ground hay and straw, Plow & Harrow, one wheel borough, shovel, spade & dungforks, one set of hors geers, twelve lb of wool, two corn hows, one flax hackle, To have and to hold the said goods and chattles unto the Said Benjamin Reese his Executors, administrators, & assigns to his and their own proper use benefits and behoof forever, And the said Andrew Rees my Heires Executors and administrators the said goods and chattles unto the said Benjamin Rees his executors administrators & assigns from and against all persons whosoever Shall and will warrant & forever defend by these presents In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my Hand and Seal the twentieth day of December A.D. 1820

We Eneas S. McCready, John warfel and Henry A. Carpenter, Auditors appointed by the Orphan's Court of Lancaster County, according to the annexed order, on the 21st day of December 1829, to settle and adjust the rates and proportions of the remaining assets, in the hands of Christian Sherts Jun Administrator of Jacob Reese, late of Strasburg township in said County (Farmer) deceased, due and payable to the respective creditors of said deceased, having met pursuant to public notice given to the said creditors of the time and place of their meeting to wit: four insertions in the "Lancaster Intelligencer" and four insertions in the "Lancaster Gazette":Do Report, that they have distributed and adjusted the remaining assets among the creditors aforesaid, according to the following statements to wit:

The balance of the estate according to the Account of the Christian Sherts Jun. Exhibited into the Register's Office at Lancaster on the 14th of Nov. 1829 and confirmed by the said Court on the 21st of Dec. Following is- $355.12-1/2
From which must be deducted first, the value of certain articles, included in the Inventory and charges against the said administrator in the aforesaid account, which belonged to the widow of said intestate, under the 3d Sec. of act of 10th April 1828, entitled "An Act for the relief of the Poor, amounting to - 30.

Dec'd} IN the name of God amen I Henry Rees of the Township of Martick in the county of Lancaster and State of Penna. yeoman, being sick and weak of Body, but of sound mind memory and understanding and calling to mind the uncertainty of human life and that it is ordered for all men once to die, I therefore make this my last will and Testament in manner following that is to say I recommend my immortal Soul into the hands of Almighty God and who gave it and my Body to the earth from whence it came to be decently interred at the discretion of my hereinafter named Executor and hoping in a glorious Resurrection through the merits of Jesus Christ my Redeemer and an happy admission into the regions of Bliss and Immortality, and as to my worldly Estate wherewith it hath pleased God to bless me, I give and dispose of the same in the following manner, to wit, Item it is my will and I order and direct that all my just Debts & funeral Expences to be paid out of my estate as soon as conveniently may be after my Decease. Item I give and bequeath unto my beloved Wife Margaret all the rest residue and remainder of my Estate to have and to hold to her my said wife Margaret during her natural life time with full priviledge & possession thereof as she shall want for her own use during her natural lifetime, and after her decease it is my will and I order and direct that all the rest residue and remainder of my estate or so much thereof as may appear to be left after the death of my beloved wife Margaret, I give and bequeath the same unto my three Sons (to wit) John Rees, Jacob Rees & Daniel Rees to be divided amongst them into three equal Shares~share & share alike.- And lastly I nominate make and appoint my trusty friend Henry Bowman Executor of this my last will and Testament and I also nominate make & appoint my trusty friend Christian Herr, Pequa, Guardian of my minor son, Daniel Rees during his minority, making hereby null and void all former Wills by me made, declaring this and no other to be my last will and testament. Wisness my Hand and Seal the third Day of May A.Dom: one thousand eight hundred and twelve.--Henry Riess (seal) Signed Sealed Published pronounced and declared by the testator as his last will and Testament in the presence of us Witnesses thereto called Jacob Ressler, Jacob Traeger-- lancaster County SS on the 27th Day of July 1812. Before me the Subscriber personally appeared Jacob Ressler and Jacob Trager who being duly Sworn according to Law did depose and say that they were present and saw and heard Henry Reese sign seal publish pronounce and declare the within writing as and for his last will and testament and that at the doing thereof he was of sound mind memory and understanding to the best of their knowledge observation and belief.

Be it remembered that on the 27th Day of July 1812 the last will and testament of Henry Reese deceased was proved in due form of Law and Letters Testamentary thereon were granted to the Executor therein named, he having first been duly qualified well and truly to administer the Estate of said dec'd, especially to exhibit a true and perfect Inventory thereof into the Registers Office, at Lancaster, within one month from this date and to render a true and just Account of his Executorship on said estate in one year or when thereunto lawfully required. Copied Henry Bowman sole Executor of the last Will and Testament of Henry reese, late of Martick township in the County of Lancaster deceased, having stated and filed in the Register's Office at Lancaster, his Administration Account on the estate of said deceased & legal notice thereof being given by said Register, the same is now produced to the Court for confirmation, whereby it appears that the said Account was duly passed by the said Register, and that there remains in the hands of said Accountant a balance of $33.22. The Court on due examination thereof and advisement had thereon, approve of and confirm the same and direct, that the balance, after deducting therefrom 11/3 the expenses of this Court, the Remainder thereof, amounting to $31.72; be paid and distributed equally to the Will of said deceased.

Samuel Becket and Jacob Belinger Executors of The last will and testament of Jacob Reese late of the township of Pelham in the County of Sincolor and province of upper Canada deceased late Husband of Elizabeth also deceased who was one of The daughters of Andrew Shultz late of the township of Lampeter in the County of Lancaster and state of Pennsylvania deceased send greeting, Know Ye that the said Samuel Becket and Jacob Belinger have on the day of the date hereof had and received of Michael Shenk of the township of Lampeter in the county of Lancaster and State of Pennsylvania aforesaid Husbandman the sum of Twenty nine pounds Twelve Shilling and seven pence Current money of Pennsylvania equal to the sum of seventy nine dollars and one cent lawful money of the united states in full of and for the part share and proportion of the said Jacob Reese and Elizabeth his wife in right of the said Elizabeth, of and in the sum of Two hundred and sixty-six pounds Thirteen Shillings and fourpence being one third part part of the sum of Eight hundred pounds charged upon and made payable for or out of a certain plantation and tract of Land situate in Lampeter Township and County of Lancaster aforesaid containing Eighty four acres be the same more or less late the real Estate Lands and tenements of the said Andrew Shultz deceased whereon he lived or resided in his life time and at the time of his death and which the said Andrew Shultz deceased in and by his last will and testament dated the twelfth day of August in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and Eighty four, since his deceased duly proved and remaining in the Register's Office at Lancaster, did give and devise unto his said son John Shultz and to his heirs and assigns in fee simple and therein directed the said sum of two hundred and sixty six pounds thirteen shillings and four pence, being one third part of the said sum of Eight hundred pounds(the valuation of the premises) to be retained or left in the Hands of his said son John to enable him to pay the interest thereof unto his the said testators wife Barbara afterwards his widow and relict yearly and every year during the term of her natural life or widowhood in lieu of her dower in the premises, she the said Barbara being lately dead the said sum of Two hundred and sixty six pounds Thirteen shillings and four pence by the directions and true intent and meaning of the last will and testament aforesaid
became payable to and amongst the said john Shultz the son and the seven daughters of the said Andrew Shultz deceased and the representatives of such of them as were then dead allowing to the said John Shultz or his representatives the shares thereof which said plantation and tract of land with the appurtenances or the greater part thereof by virtue of some good and sufficient conveyances and assurances in the Law became vested in the said Michael Shenk and his heirs and assigns in fee simple In Consideration whereof the said Samuel Becket and Jacob Belinger as well as for themselves for and in Behalf of the heirs and representatives of the said Jacob Reese deceased and of his said wife Elizabeth also deceased and each of them have acquitted released and forever discharged and by these presents do acquit release and and forever discharge the said Michael Shenk his heirs Executors Administrators and Assigns and the aforesaid tract or parcel of land late the real estate Lands and tenements of the said Andrew Shultz deceased and every part thereof and from the aforesaid sum of Twenty nine pounds twelve shillings and seven pence equal to the sum of Seventy nine dollars and one cent, And of and from all the part and share of the said Jacob Reese and Elizabeth his wife or of their heirs or representatives or any or either of them of and in the said sum of two hundred and sixty six pounds thirteen shillings and four pence and of and from all and all manner of action and actions suits accounts reckonings and demands whatsoever which against him the said Michael Shenk

They the said Jacob Rees and Elizabeth his wife or neither of them in their life time or since their decease their heirs or representatives any or either of them ever had or now have and which against him the said Michael Shenk his heirs Executors Administrators or assigns they the said Samuel Becket and Jacob Belinger or either of them or the heirs or representatives of the said Jacob reese deceased and Elizabeth Reese deceased or any or either of them can or may have Claim Challenge or demand for or on account of the aforesaid sum of money or any part or parcel of the aforesaid sum of Two hundred and sixty six pounds thirteen shillings and four pence or any part of the said sum of Eight hundred pounds the valuation or appraisement of the Real estate Lands and tenements late of the said Andrew Shultz deceased:
The Witness whereof the said Samuel Becket and Jacob Belinger have hereunto set their hands and seals the Eleventh day of August in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty three.

In Testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the day and year aforesaid.
