Rush Farm Graveyard
Located on the East Side of Radcliffe Road near the intersection of Hill Road, Pequa, Township, south of Baumgardners. Eight observable stones of former larger graveyard. Recently more stones were found around the bottom of a nearby power pole.
This graveyard was once much larger and the existing stones were likely moved to their present location by one or another of the persons farming the field. It is likely dozens of persons were buried here and deed research might uncover the original dimensions and location of the graveyard. Despite many years of plowing the fields the graves at six feet deep are likely undisturbed. Relocation of the stones does not undo the existence or geography of the original graveyard. Underground radar mapping of the field would determine the existence and location of graves.
