Bowman Graveyard



Situated on the south side of Smithville Road, about a half mile east of Rte. 272 and about 1500 feet easterly of the meetinghouse site. The church was discontinued in 1904. The church building was relocated and the property sold.

In 1968 the farm where the cemetery is located was owned by Andrew Shauback. At the time of the forming of the church the land was owned by Bishop Henry Bowman who founded the Bowman Reformed Mennonite Meetinhouse.

There are no known records for the church. The transcriptions of the known stones are as follows:
