Mt. Airy Graveyard Association

The Mt. Airy Graveyard Association was formed in June of 1998 for the purpose of restoring and preserving the following historic graveyards:
  1. Reese Family Graveyard
  2. Groff-Stoneroad-Reese Graveyard
  3. Rush Family Graveyard

The Mt. Airy Graveyard Association is a member of Grave Concern, of Ephrata, PA
The Association has a three member Board of Directors that conducts quarterly meetings. Membership in the organization is open to anyone and particularly encouraged for lineal descendants.

Presently
the Association is-
    re: Reese Family Graveyard
  1. attempting to resolve the issue of permanent access. Discussions are ongoing with neighboring property owners and the title company that last wrote a policy on the parent tract.(Tract A-see abstract)
  2. During July 1999, further cleanup and improvements to the Reese Family Graveyard.
  3. During July 1999, making initial cleanup and recovery efforts for the Groff-Stoneroad-Reese cemetery
