Jacob Marks
Buried in the Hans Hess graveyard next to what might be the tombstone of his wife. Jacob was likely born in York/Adams county and later moved to the West Willow area of Lancaster county.

Nicholas Marks
Nicholas might have been born in York/Adams county, Feb 27, 1787. He was a potter and storekeeper in West Willow at the time of his death at the early age of 34. He died Oct 12, 1821 is buried in the Hans hess graveyard.

Catherine Marks

Catherine Marks was born near West Willow in May 14, 1821 to Nicholas Marks and an unknown wife. Her father died when she was just a few months old.

Catherine married Silas Winters abt.1842. She was the landlady at the Mt. Airy Hotel for a number of years and the family lived on a nearby farm. The Mt. Airy Hotel was located near the intersection of Mt. Airy Rd and Truce Rd. near New Providence in Providence Twp. They had a family of 8-10 children between 1844 and 1860-1865.

Catherine died in 1895 and is buried at New Providence.
