Elizabeth married John Griffith 1870. In her later years she and her husband lived with their son Joseph on the farm he tenanted on Martindale Road near Voganville in Earl township.
Elizabeth died on that farm April 3, 1925

Obituary
Mrs.John Griffith
Mrs. Elizabeth Griffith, wife of John Griffith, died at the home of her son Joseph, of Voganville, this morning, at 3 o'clock, after several weeks illness, from a complication of disease, aged 72 years.
She was a member of the Martindale Evangelical church. Besides her husband she is survived by the following children:Joseph,Voganville; Abraham, Martindale; George and Martin, Bird-in-Hand; Eva wife of Jefferson Ludwig, Hinkletown, and these brothers and sisters: Mrs. Susanna Griffith, Martindale; Mrs. Maggie Rowe, Kinzer, and Joseph Cramer of Gap. Funeral services will be held from the home at 1 P.M. in the Martindale Evangelical church and burial in the adjoining cemetery
[note:Surviving sister Susanna Griffith is the sister of Elizabeth who married Elizabeth's husband's brother, Issac Griffith. That couple is also buried at Martindale Evangelical church cemetery.]
